You can connect up to 5 HDMI devices to one HDMI input on your TV, monitor, or projector. Popular examples include:

Does it support 8K and 4K@120Hz?
Yes — the HubSwitch 4 8K is a true HDMI 2.1 switch with 48 Gbps bandwidth. It fully supports:
- 8K@60Hz
- 4K@120Hz
- Lower resolutions (4K@60Hz, 1080p@120/240Hz, etc.)
For best results, use certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables (48 Gbps rated), especially for longer runs. Recommended max. length of HDMI cable is 5m.
Do I need to install any software or drivers?
No — it's completely plug-and-play. Just connect your HDMI cables, plug in the power (if your model requires an adapter), and start using it. No apps, no configuration needed.
What if I have very long HDMI cables? Will it still work at 8K or 4K@120Hz?
For full 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz performance, we recommend using certified 48 Gbps Ultra High Speed HDMI cables and keeping lengths under 3 meters (10 ft) where possible. Longer cables may reduce performance depending on quality — active/fiber optic cables can help for extended runs.
Does it extract audio or have audio outputs?
Most customers place it behind the TV (using short HDMI cables to keep things tidy) or on a nearby shelf/media console. Its compact size makes it very easy to hide.
